Klotzsch, C.S. Kunth, K. Müller and H.G. Reichenbach. 6 volumes were planned of which vol. 2 was never published. These comprise mammals, amphibia, fishes, insects and botany. "The collections he made were enormous and were written up, mainly by himself ... This was a model faunal work for its day - comprising, authoritative, and well illustrated' (Adler p. 37).
