An attractively illustrated work on poisonous plants growing in the Netherlands. The publisher Sulpke bought some plates from Aimé Henry in Bonn, used for his book 'Die Giftpflanzen Deutschlands'. A few other plates were made especially, by Henry, for Miquel's publication. Miquel is best known for his contributions towards the flora of the former Dutch East Indies.
