The work describes 136 species of which 128 marine mollusca, collected by Dr. Nuhn near Decima. The 3 plates show 65 new species of which 63 marine. In 1882 Dunker published an extended edition 'Index molluscorum maris Japonici' which is less rare than his first publication. Some slight foxing. A nicely bound copy.
